Union Gables Breaks her Maiden in Debut at Saratoga
Union Gables breaks her maiden in her debut at Saratoga. Bob Peterson Stable does it again with this swift filly by Speightstown out of the stakes placed mare Tonasah.

Purchased for the bargain price of $90,000 from the OBS Spring 20, this well bred speedster drilled a :21 quarter during the under tack show.
Tonasah earned nearly $400,000 in her brief career winning 2 of 8 and placing in 7 of 8 career starts for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Union Gables is trained by Gary Gullo and was ridden masterfully by Hall of Fame rider Johnny Velazquez, to win in the final jump in a thrilling five horse photo finish. The final time for the 5 1/2 furlong sprint was completed in 1:05.54 and paid $16.20 for the win.
I’m excited to report this was my first runner from my OBS Spring 20 Short List (See below). Also, happy to report my sales topper Hip 1254 (See Video) Princess Noor by Not This Time, is working out brilliantly at Del Mar for her new connections.
Last year, Mr. Peterson purchased the Sales Topper filly from Midlantic 19 for $1.8 million. That filly happens to be the best filly on the planet, having won the The Acorn stakes in 1:32.55 and The Test in 1:20.83. Yes, I’m talking about the undefeated Gamine.
