Secret Love set for Debut at Belmont Park

Secret Love makes her debut on 9-24-20 at beautiful Belmont Park for trainer John Kimmel. Ridden by Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez, Secret Love drew the number 5 post for this NY Bred 6 furlong dash.

Hip #640 A late May foal, New York Bred filly by Not This Time out of Exotic Design, by A.P. Indy, a daughter of Grade 1 winner Exotic Wood and a full-sister to stakes winner Key to Power. This solid chestnut breezed an 1/8 in :9 4/5 seconds, the fastest at this distance from all runners through day 4 at OBS in Ocala. I’ve been extremely impressed with almost every runner by this leading Freshman sire Not This Time as he already produced 10 winners during his first crop of runners , including a graded stakes winner in undefeated Princess Noor, who captured the Debutante stakes at Del Mar in her second start.

Sold for 270K at the July OBS 20 sales, this speedy filly was one of my favorites selected from the sales as I was enamored with her imposing physical along with her powerful stride. Consigned by de Meric Sales, Agent. Secret Love has a TrueNicks A Rating.

 Hip #647 Pledge  caught my eye today. Another filly with a big stride that stopped the clock in :10.1 with little effort. This well bred 2 year-old by Candy Ride (Arg) out of Faithful, is a daughter of Vindication by Seattle Slew. On the Dam side, you have Chosen Lady by Secratariat.
