Carol Cedeno Jockey of the Week! Congratulations to the super talented female jockey Carol Cedeno on winning the Jockeys’ Guild Foundation Detox Jockey of the week award.

Carol showed her male counterparts her prowess riding strong at Delaware Park by winning 3 races on Monday, 3 races on Wednesday and capped the Saturday card with a stupendous afternoon with 5 winners.

The Foundation represented more than 950 riders in America before selecting  Carol, who deservingly earned the award with her stellar performance.

Winning multiple races on a card is not unusual for Cedeno as she holds the record for most wins at Delaware with seven on a single card.

Carol began riding in 2007 and is closing in on a 1,000 wins in her career.
